WAYNETOWN — Emma Greenburg, 74, of the Shawnee Mound neighborhood in Tippecanoe County, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at her home. She had been in failing health since suffering a hip fracture last April, her condition becoming serious two weeks ago. Born April 8, 1890 in Fountain County, she was a daughter of Samuel S. and Mary Ludlow Sheaffer. She married Harry Greenburg near Newtown Dec. 23, 1909. He survives. Mrs. Greenburg attended school at Wingate. She was a member of the Wingate Methodist Church and served a number of years as its treasurer. Most of her married life was spent in Fountain County, and in recent years she lived in Tippecanoe. Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Marie Oswalt of West Point and Mrs. Elsie Louise Bilsland of Laurel, Md.; a son, Lawrence E. of Covington; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Ludlow Sheaffer of Ellensburg, Wash., and Lawrence L. Sheaffer of Crawfordsville, and nieces and nephews. Funeral rites are set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown, with Rev. Rob James officiating and interment in Sugar Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funera1 home.  -- typed by Walt W
